I am a true Canadian lady of the north and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love the outdoors and I have an ongoing relationship with nature and what she has to offer. I've always walked to the beat of my own drum and enjoyed being just a wee bit different. I guess now at 56, things are not going to change anytime soon.
I've recently become a senior citizen and suddenly all of the issues of senior living have become important to me, especially in our small retirement community. I recently married my partner of 20 years and between us we have 4 children and 9 grandchildren.
I have a keen interest in relationships, health, food, simple living, faith, and survival in today's fast paced world and most of my articles cover these topics. I'm fairly new to online publishing but I have written for local newspapers and community handouts.
